When?

Did cut off sleeveless shirts become de riguer at golf tournements? I was surfin through there and damn these fools had that on with hats turned backwards. And that really annoyong HOLE HOLE HOLE. Who really wants to be that guy? TOOL.

I used to ride that all the time

Click on the header for another bike vs car story.

I love 29th street the blocks are cool and so are the people.

This is a darn shame.

CBO

Good Luck

To the guys and gals racing today at Breck. Should be fast and fun and I know I'll pulling for all of you.

Heck I might as well start on my daily coffee routine. That stuff is horrible but i am addicted to the cup of life until 11 then I lose all interest, I maybe a Pepsi for a shot of get up and go, whatever.

Okay out.

Still

Monday to Sunday - yup still on the ward. Had a bronchial flush to see what kind of fungus bateria it is. No results as of yet.

This place or rather my care needs a better schedule, I slept for a few hours (thank god) with some cat naps thrown in the middle of the night. Cat napping in the night you ask yourself? Yes it is true. With the CNA's doing hourly checks (I can't tell this guy to bugger off) So I try to sleep when I can, I am so fried right now, tried to sleep again to no avail. Hell I even held on to a pee so I could try and sleep. Any suggestions out there in blogger land? As you can imagine, I am not functioning very well today or yesterday or really from the day before that.

Okay enough BS about the poor me crap, I have so much more to live for and look forward too that losing sleep is kinda low on the list, unless they tell that lack of sleep is slowing my recovery I am just going to have to deal with it.

Another teen Driver KILLS

See the link above by clicking on the header.

This is an epidemic.

Smell -

I've had this issue in the past, people wearing parfume or cologne that is just stinky to me. What's wrong with a clean soapy smell? I have my fair share of colognes that I never wear. But that is another story for another day.

The CNA's here - the men wear something that smells like "Off" (the bug spray yes) so sickly sweet it makes me gag, the jug head the other night was wearing it and I swear everytime he came near me I sneezed.

Now tonight I came out of my room to get some more ice water and I smell it, sickly sweet, but there is no one around the nurses/doc/cna station. So the crap smell was just sitting there fouling it all. It make me gag, couch and sneeze. And it looks like she is the only one working tonight, i could be screwed huge.

Uh great explaination there

Get this one:

"He had sustained severe burns to his entire body and was obviously deceased with a massive head wound to the head that was consistent to a gunshot wound."

Tool.

One monday for tests

Has now stretched to Thursday as an inpatient back at CU. it took like 40 days before something knocked me back my guess was like 20 days and I would be back. But nope eatng right and walking keep me out. And this is such a short stay, and with no fevers it will be really short.

For reference after chemo at LA in Littleton I would be back with in a week with 104 degree fever and be laid up a minium of 9 days. In this place with Hypo rooms and their own oxygen and all the high tech gizmo's and specific pills I am about ready to walk out of here in plenty of time to catch Parker and hopefully Breck the next day. I am seriously counting my lucky stars. I hope no one gets cancer, but if you do you want to be at CU hospital. 4sho.

12 riders up 15 minutes

At the Tour of Mizzo.

I can see letting it hit 5/7 minutes and then drilling it to make the catch. When 12 riders are doing a double pace line and everyone is working I guess you can make the race.

Now for the reality that was some sick assed riding, PLEASE Dan let's us know if you are okay.

So wrong - shades of Univest (destroyed field), TOG (race over) US pro (dumped the field).

So.

Tour Day Mizzou

Update coming: Sounds like Slipstream is drilling it again with Schmatz in good position - my call is either him or Huff two mizzou guys in a death match or maybe Menzies, Ivan if he is in there or maybe a long shot. Looks like it was Ivan Dominguez, god I love me some cycling.

Fever - gone, updated.

Now the fever has been gone for like 8 hours, but the lil buggy still in my right lung making it hard to draw a deep breath. I wonder if this is what CPOD is like. 8:45 and I am bored to hell already. Looks like a long day on the intentional waste of time net.

Yeah awesome

No beds, just enough time to swing by the casa grab some clothes, chargers, get some magazines, grab all my drugs and come on back, yup I am back on the ward for a viral infection in my right lung and the fevers. Ah well, at least I will be away from my mom who is driving me insane.

There are issues, serious.

Back Pain

Like I have never had before has led me to beat a hasty retreat to the hospital, must have been EDIT: see below, but DAMN, I can barely type, can't take a deep breath, and feel whooped. Time for xrays and all that shit - man they just hit mini alert, this is going to be a long painful day. I'd rather be riding in the cold and rain - like Roubiax harden the frick up.

EDIT: It was and is the viral infection that is causing the pain in expanding lungs, chest and back.

Worse than I thought

Click the above and see the carnage.

Wait a rider unlapped himself to STEAL SECOND. Flipping out over here. Timmy and Will if your reading this, MAJOR!

Where was Veloviews?

Done

Univest GP - Updated!

1st Will F, 2nd Juan Freddie Para, 3rd Timmy D.

Juan gangked Timmy at about 200 meters and popped some fury, it was cool to see, but a bit of a sense of oh dang for Timmy. Third ain't bad since they have the podium surrounded.

Out.

Holy Smokes

Timmy and Will are lapping the field at the Univest. They are in a 4 man break that KILLED the race. I mean KILLED IT. There are something like 20 guys left that have not been lapped.

Slipstream wanted this one bad and launched everyone at the beginning to shred the field. I gotta respect Stefano - man he is hanging onto a top 5 in no man's land 2:42 back from the break and riding completely alone.

This could be a big time Boulder day. 3 riders in the top 5? Lapping the field, blowing the race to shreds, basically dominating. Will these guys be fried for the Tour of Mizzou? All I can say is bad ass.

Lopes and Kitner

Big wins. 4 cross Fort William. Giddyup.

Tara Llanes wrecked, is paralyzed and is in Denver. If you can help do it. If not send well wishes.

Cool lady, met her a few times at Norba's.

Walk, walk.

Back to the routine of walking, walk walk walk. That's it. That's all I got. The quality of the bloggin is going straight downhill since I am limited to low levels of activity. All this manic energy I thought I would have, well it has not come back yet and it's a slog, everyone is getting ready for X and I am walking around the block, frustration.

I am happy for the news status, I just thought I would come back more quickly ah well live and learn.

Out.

3 Strikes

This kid has got to go.

3 cyclists down from one driver? That is shameful, the DA down there for the first one should have thrown the book at him then, now the new DA better throw the book at him. Sad. Click the title to see more, (3 Strikes)

Already

College football. What are you serious, where did all that time go.

So this here movie sucks Xmen The Last Stand - horrible, The In Crowd? SUCKS. Zoolander? Unwatchable. One flew over the cookoo's nest has hope, but I have seen it before.

This is yet another Saturday night made to be dealt with in tears with bad TV. Read a book today, now that is truly bored. Drove around the blocks to get a feel for the car again, man I miss driving not even having to go somewhere, I just miss it. Don't get me started on the bicycle.
