Rantastic

Bored by the news since it all makes sense. Everyone has something that they want to protect and they will fight tooth and nail to keep it.

Interesting thought. Don't that beat all? Pueblo tomorrow, then the Springs at night for some trackin observation.

Today was

A no cancer day - go as hard as you can for as long as you can. Thanks to Steve for tolerating my breaks and water stops. It was hot as a PHX here in the DenCo.

It felt good to climb. Little bits here and there and can feel legs slowly come around and take some abuse/fun. I just don't have to motor right now. But that will be coming soon enough. I think as long as I challenge myself in little ways everyday and get stronger I can get through this.

I thought of all the kids my friends and family have and my desire to see them again (cheesy I know but sometimes the truth is hard or soft). I will keep riding and so should you. You never know where inspiration will hit or where it will come from so.....

Here we go - up up up

Lance Burkhardt

Was so mean to Rick Kane. I feel bad.

It was great.

To get some love from the crowd at the fundraiser, I wish I had a job to bid on some stuff. But hey, supporting junior racers is fulfilling in and of itself.

No camera and no need to be there to shoot something meant that I could just relax and chill.

There was some big news there, that came out, but is not published, so I can't and won't say anything about it. That is something that will come out by Friday. Stay tuned not to this crappy site but some named people.

As for the rest, ah hell it is 12:50 I am going to bed. Suspense, isn't riveting? No, yeah I figured that much. Again I saw OptOmistic. Spelling people spelling. Not that I have a corner on it. But damn.

Oh no

That insane Paris has been released. Lock your parties down - that one will cause trouble. It will only be a matter of time before she violates parole and is back in. You know "those" people they just can't make it on the outside.

What - huh -

Humm this does not taste like iced tea, what is this long island business.

Cyc -

Lawd help me I like Phil Legget. I like making fun of his apparent drunkeness, foibles and just the way he makes mistakes seem so damn natural.

Cheers Phil.

Maybe not the best

The lure of racing is lurking in me, after seeing the trackies go at it, that spark, the fire, the need (racing like heroin) to click the cleats in anger. Dancing on the pedals, pulling through and sitting on.

It's a strange pull, feeling like I can put myself in the hurt locker, then realizing that the hematicrit is half of the other racers, and knowing that, that at altitude I would be darn near worthless in a test of lungs, power and riding. Instead of dancing on the pedals it would be more like doing the jerk on the pedals.

So you feel it and it's there but there is nothing to be done about it within the confines of being ill. This leads to some minor frustation(s). Where is it?

Clean is clean

Nuff said.

Went Out..

Came back not even a half hour later, I never thought I would really mean this: It is to hot to ride. If there was some wind it would almost be okay, no such luck.

First day of summer tomorrow, humm.

Gotta say thanks

To Carl, Kristal and Nick, Carlos thanks for letting us invade your space.

The Boni's have to be the coolest. My many thanks, that was a huge thing for me and it just looks SHARP.

Humm

One more shot at the Dead Dog? Outta shape skinny guy racing citizens? Could it happen? Can I get someone to take a picture me racing finally?

It could be in the cards, I don't hate Laramie and last year was fun. Just wishing for a different result or at least getting one. Besides this one would be even more meaningful.

Did you catch the mis-spelled words in there?

No one is immune including myself. HHHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAAHAHAHA. Dork. (huh)

Spelling is fun.

So is riding a bicycle, hey spelling and bicycle riding. Pedaling for grammar.

Webster's

Okay people simple stuff here - learn to spell - in shop and the spelling was all off. Even walking around the explosion of mis-spellings has caught me off guard. I love getting Genoh Salamee.

OptOmistc? OptAmistic? Uhh no. Look it up people if you are not sure about it.

Adding in words that don't fit in sentences to show how "smart" or "deep" you are? Uhh no.

Your, you are, you're. Get it?

For you comma challenged people here is a link: http://www.unc.edu/depts/wcweb/handouts/commas.html

Chin to necks or no chins or more chins than chinese yellow pages? That was funny commentairy (huh) dialogue.

Sorry it's hot out and I am a bit cranky.

V for Vendetta

Is epic - a bit slow in places, but a nice cap to the evening. Violence is a bit over the top for a non super hero. Like how is he getting all those dudes to fly way backwards when he hits them with a knife? A knife? Come on. Wasn't that one degbunked on mythbusters already and they are still trying to sell it?

Happy Birthin day Steve

Nice dinner and home and on the bed by 10 ish - a good night. Funny as well, when the sense of humor runs completely through the table it sets up epic commentary.

Tonight was one of those nights.

The past - to see the future

Snappy little Jingle

I love those "real men of genius" spots on the radio. The ideas are spot on. I would love to see on translated to a visual medium, but there is so much going on that I bet that the visual ad would be expensive and time consuming, I am sure it would be an award winner with the right director.

So what would be your "real men of genius" idea?

Spam

So it seems I am getting SPAMMED a ton everything from enhancers, to replica Rolex's to some diploma mills, secret shoppers, this that and the other and the junk mail filter is set to high. I think I have been jacked by email highjackers. Or someone's idea of a joke to sign me up for extreme bottle opening lessons. Thanks.

Just not liking it, could be projecting, likely. Tired today so I am taking it easy. Before drunken mayhem of Hangman's birthday.

Uhh oh slow but fun

Nice ride today - I got a bit over my head on it and had to stop for awhile and get a coke and a candy bar for the energy to get home, even then it was a struggle to get up these last few hills, i forgot where I was and had to find a bail out point so i would not blow my last gasket huge thanks to Eric and Chandler from http://www.sampsonsports.com/ for the last push home, i could have just slept for a while there, but out the door I went and now even after a shower and a self rub - I can feel those muscles like I have not felt them in a very long time. BIG TIME SORE.

Match Game 2007

If you remember this show you are old like me. Well not old but, let's say experienced in the ways of television.

So a match has been found and the count down begins for getting back into shape to be blown out by chemo and to let the cord blood take and overwrite my immune/marrow system to be taken up or shaken up to let a new system fall into place.

I was so ready to just wait wait wait and now that the match has been found I am kind of shocked walking around in a daze since it is great, but the what if's still confound me. And of course the why's of this even happened in the first place. But the lessons learned will be of great import down the road. So where ever you be raise a pint to wish all of us that need bone marrow and matches to live successfully find a match and get on back to livin.
