Well we did it

The double that is KB did the gs/sl double champs, Mort won the open, Alex got 4th overall, Cindy won the GS (with the coach assist - stick to the plan) Troy pulled a second and the old school homes Pete from the way hback machine got a 3rd. Way too much for one coach to pull off but you know what I did it, despite my riders be recruited in the middle of races and being told to do something way different than sticking to the plan. They followed the leader and we were successful. Humm, that tells you (me really) that despite my F up's and so called bad decisions that when the chips are down. We win.......

Traffic

Is an intense little movie. In an effort to be more hip and "with it" I am trying to watch it on AMC. All the commercials is making it hard to stay interested in what's going which I will probably forget about overnight any way.

Tired

So much so that I have bags under my eyes.

Nice little brown ones. I have not yet began to travel for the rest of this month and april and I am all bagged up.

The bike has been good to me, I am just having trouble going down for the night. I keep waking up like I am missing something like this, http://www.tetoncycling.com/forumdisclaimer.aspx, and this, http://www.jasonsager.com/blog/.

Get some rest for me.

Ohhh owwww

The friday exec ride (my name for it) went down for the first time today. Damn that hurt. Pico and a couple of buddies washed me, wrung me and folded me right out of the car.

I felt pinned the whole ride and those guys were not even breathing hard.

So now I am worked like full body worked, trying not to fall asleep work, ate poured on the water and recovery juice and 1 beer I think the beer was too much as now my stomach is deeply in distress.

Ah well just what the doctor ordered pain and suffering. If I am ever going to be fast again I gotta keep riding like that.

The month of flats

continues. had to be rescued from the side of the road due to the flat and a damn tube with a short stem. These 28MM wheels are killing me. I tried different rim tape this one was my fault as the tape moved and when I matched the hole in the tube to the underside of the wheel frame there it was an exposed spoke hole so back to the drawing on board with these. I think that I am going to file those bad boys down and see what happens then, this is to much work for some wheels. I am so ticked.

Yeah the new kits made it in. I'll post some HKA for ya (hot kit action) soon enough gotta wash out that new kit smell (twice) and treat it with a little pine sol to freshen it back up.

Time to ride while it's warm.

Gotta get the body and mind fit and ready to suffer that will be a tough one, gotta be ready to suffer and deal with punching through the pain and getting fast.

Night.

Ouch

Man those Park City kids. I have decided to never travel with them. They are still in new york trying to get home. Half the crew is into the 5th or 6th round of drinks and they connect through Chicago which is under a heavy weather warning.

This is like the 5th or 6th trip that has has major drama for them. They must not be living right...

Godzilla Vs Mechagodzilla

Is soo awesome. omg where has this little gem been hiding.

Poow folks is poor and the rich

Making a billion just isn't what it used to be. In our inaugural ranking of the world's richest people 20 years ago we uncovered some 140 billionaires. This year the list is a record 793, up 102 from last year.
They're worth a combined $2.6 trillion, up 18% since last March. Their average net worth: $3.3 billion. Strong stock markets around the world (the U.S. being the notable exception) contributed to this surge in wealth.
India, whose BSE Sensex market was up 54% in the past 12 months, is home to 10 new billionaires, more than any other country besides the U.S.

Ah legs

back pain is still the call of the day. It seems to feel like it is creeping around a bit. The stinger in the foot is still sorta bad, riding does make it "feel" better. However I am looking at some hectic travel, work and all that. I updated the links and am testing some new wheels from a Denver guy.

www. rolwheels.com

SL28's stability, and strength are good, the hubs roll smoothly and the bladed spokes with shred small animals at speed.

Running cloth tape at present and have flatted 6 times now from a Sunday pick up from the stazio. workmanship, the craft and finish are top notch, I left some Mavic Elite's to try these, the build and quality are the same and the road feel is really good, we motored up from Morrison, to Red Rocks, to Coors, to Golden back to Lakewood to Foxhollow to morrison again, here in Colorado, and if you know the roads you know they are in so so shape, pot holes and deflections were solid the wheel did not even flinch, the wheels got some good abuse, blasted something like 140 in 3 days and so far so good. Going to race them ASAP and see how they feel and see if I keep flatting. The internal rims are smooth and the tape is flat, 700/3/4 to 1's and as I mentioned way to many flats to even consider road hazards. However I will just ride em and see what happens tomorrow in the snow rain and what have you in the next few days. And we'll have a proper review at that point.

Stazio!

Wow, those fools are going soooo hard.

Moniger, Tyler showed and pounded all the local pro's a United Pro dude lap times were around 2 minutes on a 1.1 mile course blew me away that this is MARCH! Guess when you get paid you run hard. I need to rethink that hey let's ride thing and stop with the junk miles.

Pico showed up randomly he was "on a ride" he looks good and fit. Boulder Golden Boulder will do that for you.

I got some pics of 2/3's and some of the ladies notably Patria and some other lady in the Twin Peaks kit. I'll post what I can when I can I am worked right now, long ride feet hurt and I am starving. Good news the rides do not hurt as much but I am keeping it under 20 mph and hearth rate out of threshold, if I do the stazio thing that will go right out of the window in a heart beat no pun intended. Damn even the 4's were beating themselves into the ground.
