Full stop

New treatment option - instead of today - it will be tomorrow. Even better, one more day to stew on this. But the levels are low and things are bright. No worries.

Stay tuned.

Ya no nevermind

Things are said and done and you live with it.

So anemia or cancer, great choices huh? Doc thinks b-12 def but could be anything.

So, me hell I am not gonna worry till I gotta worry.

No adverse comments and no blame from me. things change and people move on. Each one teach one. I learned and I taught so that is a posi.

Still waitin on my frame. I have collected a bunch of parts that may or may not work together, such is life. I only hope that the doc's on my case get this one figured out quick so I can do what I love which is riding my bicycle.

Brian is off to meet the woman and I am just hanging. Feel free to call or go for a ride with no pressure that means no massive efforts, unless you want to feel good about yourself, by whoppin an anemic pedal pusher/grinder. I have zero power so I am ripe for the taking.

Go ride your bikes

Go! Do it now.

Back Home again

On a friday night. Sheesh.

SLC was nuts delayed landing due to weather. Lots of appointments the flew right back home.

Not even there for 24 hours and I missed Metal Gods. Those SLC fools are pissy about it. Sorry fellas after all that bouncy bouncy I went to bed.

Same thing I'm going to do tonight.

Everyone wish B-Fay a safe drive he is leaving for the weddin a month early. Yes a month early, as he needs to actually help with planning and other assorted and sundry things. He's a drivin so wish him a safe smooth drive.

Me I am flat out rejected, dejected and sitting on a toad stool. There is a cool assed party to close the summer tomorrow and I need a date anyone wanna go?

Ohh yeah

All the photo's are up at my photo site: www.cyclimages.com

Yep I have a photo site and will be transitioning it to a pay site but that will only be like 1.50 per photo. I am an am in that and if someone wants them I'll probably just give them away. I just want to be able to buy batteries for the camera. Big ambition huh?

Okay now I am off!

Back Home

Only to leave again tomorrow. Fun aint it?

Good thing no travel for a few weeks and I can catch up at home, find new digs and send off a bunch of stuff.

Work is good, the anemia is getting better slowly. I pulled out the roadie for an hour, damn I was wiped out but good for a few hours. Looks like the PO is out for me and I am sad about that, but the doc (good dude Dr. Schneider in Lone Tree) said if your gonna race just take that money and burn it or give it to me and I'll burn it. You'll be wasting your money if you do it. Nuff Said.

It was 100 in Phoenix yesterday and I walked part of South Mountain in the late afternoon. Lots of fun and I wish I had my bike with me - those trails would be so much fun and at that altitude I would KILL IT. Maybe not. NOT.

Okay off to bed.

Bonked out

Been feeling it the last day or so. Low blood anemic. Want more info click the header above.

Feeling better every now and then, but things are making more sense: bad decisions, inablilty to make up my mind, frackin tired, feeling wasted. Good rides but no power at all. Lookin back at my notes I think I have been suffering from this for months and since I ha no insurance I never knew. But when if finally got bad I had insurance and we'll see how this goes. Time to get healthy again I have ground to make up.

Thank you for reading

Hey Andrew - call me when you get a chance. B-Fay want a steak? Ed-O thanks for the kind words. Katgirl would you please answer. I am so tired already today and I hardly did anything yet. Forcing myself to eat is such a pain. Just not hungry.

Milne Comes out of Nowhere

To Win the univest GP, Tecos rider and Sean Sullivan in third. Trek Tecos did a sick ride. But the cake goes to the Nav's rider Milne who just displayed some sick power and made the race his. What is amazing is that the peloton did not mesh to bring it back. Gnarly.

Peloton is blown

A couple of Navs and Target Training have created a 3rd chase group. This could be to little to late.

There is a group of 5 chasing Cooke and he is dangling 15 seconds off the front. Cooke is all alone - no support - he's an am. He has to rely on the officials for info - it is decision time either bury himself or fall back in and work with the group of five. Don't burn all the matches man at this point your not going to get away from them.

Freidman Just cramped

And let Cook go. He is trying to work out the kinks, man you can see the pain on his face. Damn that sucks kids you gotta eat drink and drink and drink. Damn that sucks.

Toyota U sent two guys just attacked and they are dragging two guys with them they are 30 seconds back with the peloton still another 30 seconds further afield. Now that Friedman is in difficulty with the main bunch get organized and reel in the intermediate break or are the content to let it go on.

Let's see what happens. Laps left and now Cook is suffering, he is the guy that just won the Green Mountain stage race. Look a bit haggered now, he needs to get into a few bottles of water and get some carbs in. Back to the action.

Friedman

Is hauling ass - however the Peloton is wavering, no one is willing to make a chase with 7 laps to go. Where is the organization, Toyota U and FiordaFrutta is trying to make something happen. Trying to jump out now, and bridge across. It is hot, really hot - let's see if he can make it.

A tri guy made the bridge and now with the leaders. Wow amazing effort. Vega has been dropped from the lead group and now it is Friedman and Cook. Let's see if the can work together to hold off a very disorganized peloton.

More later.

Feeling it

Been riding a fair bit. The bike is good to me right now. Sorta getting lost in just riding for ridings sake. Which is good, better than being on a plan and meeting goals and 20-40's and intervals.

Now it's just point it, put your nose into the wind and ride your troubles away, good therapy.

I have been feelin the pressure and feelin a tad out of sorts, so I checked the BP and it is a little high so off to the doc I go tomorrow. I think I need a break from all this for a bit. But travel is comin up get that done and I should be good to go.

So I made the decision to get a cross frame and build it up and do some crossin this fall. Nothin major just some fun rides and get to know that scene. Wish me luck with the runnin and jumpin. Not that should be an issue, hell I ran and jumped the whole time growing up so it will be like coming home (oh the stories we tell ourselves).

The cross machine will be a Blue frame and when I get it I'll photo it up and progress with photo's while build up. And I am moving I cannot afford where I live anymore, two potential roomies flaked and well it is time to just live within my means. This was a great experiement but it's time to cut bait cause the fish just ain't bitin.

Huh?

Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure or nothing.

Jackass 2

Can they top the original? YES. Boys I know you'll love it and I hope your going with your bro's since the wifey, GF, FWB will not understand.

Man sometimes you just gotta laugh at someone getting blown away.

Hey my girls did okat at Grand Jct. My girl Lynn pulled a second down in Chile had her bags lost and flew back or the other way around. Brian is home and I am happy to see him - filled a piece of my heart that had been lost. You know what I guess life is good no matter what. Turn the cranks.

The Minor Accomplishments of Jackie Woodman

Love it.

dang it is cold out

To cold for the gear I have right now. Cant find my blue cold weather jacket so tried to sit on the trainer and that is just wrong this time of year, not even remotely fun. Not that it is fun at any other time really.

So a lazy Saturday will be spent cleaning up, surfing bike info and trying to plan a race or two. I still believe that I can get a result and have fun doing it. Confidence is a tricky thing, it can lean to arrogance to to a deeper understanding of self and your inner dimensions. I only gave up on one person and I regretted it. But that is a story for another time and place and right now that kind of introspection would be a bit overpowering so let's just go with what ya know and enjoy the day.

Yeah Joe!

FORMER SARTAN JOE HARGE NEW T-BIRDS ASSISTANTThe defending NBA Development League Champion Albuquerque Thunderbirds announced today that Albuquerque native Joe Harge has been named as assistant coach.

Harge replaces Larry Smith, who accepted the head coaching position with the Anaheim Arsenal in July.Harge is a 1989 graduate of Oregon State University, where he played for four years.

During his time at OSU, the Beavers received invitations to the NCAA tournament twice and twice for the NIT. At St. Pius X High School in Albuquerque, Harge was named to the McDonald’s, Converse and USA Today All-America teams. "Coach Harge will definitely make an impact for the Thunderbirds.

He is a great coach and really knows the players in this league,” T-Birds head coach Michael Cooper said. “Any time you can add a person with head coaching success, you have to consider that a victory."

The Thunderbirds season kicks off at home on November 24 against Dennis Johnson and his Austin Toros with a 7:00 p.m. tip off. Thunderbirds 2006–07 season tickets are already on sale and can be purchased at abqtbirds.com or at the Thunderbirds front office. For premium or group seating call the Thunderbirds office at (505) 265-DUNK.

Perspective

Since I really dont have that right now and I have no desire to slash and burn. All I can say is thank you. Not for the end, but for the beginning and middle. I learned that I can do a lot and be open, caring and host of other things that I thought were lost and have been found.

Well I guess that I do have some perspective. Just the kind that comes with experience.

I guess I have the going for me. I am gone riding, I need that joy, suffering and redemption that you get from a ride, plus the therapy aspect is needed now or I may just fall apart.
