Chaney and Goon's

I have seen and known many goons in my life including myself.

This shit with Temple is wonderous.

(readithere:http://msn.foxsports.com/other/story/3408956)

Now how long before the "goon" or his family get's pissed and sues' for defamtion, or the kid that got zapped sues for "intentional harm" and that the schools and conferences have to pay an ass load to make this go away or something.

Everything is so PC, I remember back "in the day" when an ass kicking was just that, no one sued or acted up, they would either back the f up or come at you again, with some renewed vigor and then you would beat them down againor get your ass served to you setting up round three. But not anymore, now it's "ow he bumped me" and you call Frank Azar or Norton Frickey or whomever your big "personal injury" lawyer is and GET FUCKIN PAID over some shit that happened everyday as a kid and still happens everyday to kids, but adults need the golden ring and will sure your ass into a bitchified state and paralyze you into your current state of complacency (bad mis-spelling there) wake up and take the ass kicking or kick some ass. The only thing holding you back IS YOU. Everything is everything, you did it you get it, people. REMEMBER THAT

March

Damn it's March right now, well in two hours.

Where did the winter go, why am I sweating my ass of on a trainer and why are the races (bike) starting this weekend in TEXAS. OMFG. Last year there was a minimal overlap, now they are bogarting seasons. All the freaks that should be racing X are still in sport and the weak sports are sitting on their hands saying everyone should move up. I am going to move up, I can take Tim' s place in the top ten and leave the chronic bitchers there to bitch and never move up.

I should start a team of evolution, keep moving up fouling races, making the sandbaggers realize who and what they are, I would get soo bored winning all the time as there would be no challenge. Hey Bollengeberg or Cheek or any of the past winners of every sport race for the last, oh, 5 years FUCKING MOVE UP, accept the challenge, I am I know the ex's pretty race and work fulltime and have no wives or kids, but, they said I am fucking good and I am gonna prove it, while the sandbaggers stay put and win T-shirts and grips every weekend and keep people that would keep racing out of events because you drove them out, by being a selfish, pussy assed bitch. I am coming for you screws this year, and if you beat me, cool, but everyone is gonna know how weak you really are.

Looking to SRAM

Looks like I might upgrade to SRAM grip shifters. Now wouldn't that be something?

HAwkes turned me onto Zinn and The Art of Mountain Bike Maintenence, damn fine book, however I still cannot shift down to the smallest cog on my cassette. WUWT. Ah well I am tired anyway and will probably muck it up.

Cheaters

Oh my god, never saw this before, wow, this country assed chick gets caught with her man's best friend, dude jumps out of the window in his drawers and is SPRINTING UP THE STREET with camera close behind, second funniest thing I have seen this month.

Man if your gonna be cheatin and get caught red handed in the act, you gotta take those lumps, runnin just makes you look like an even bigger bitch. Dude is wearing some sparkly boxers, I am falling down laughing, dude runnin down the street in his shorts barefoot, BARE FOOT. Damn it is soo not worth it.

Damn.

Damn Timmy B in the house!!!

That fool is on the cover of Mountain Biking Magazine. The March 2005 issue, I got that sucker right here. Full on Dean Kit, rocking the dreds and those damn cheap sunglasses that he seems to favor. Looks good! It is nice to see some local love, check it out and see JHK in there also.

BOOM!

Beat Legs

Okay riding the trainer has now gone back to being freakin boring and hot and repetitive.

One good thing is that your workout is focused and that is a good and bad thing. Good in the sense that this is all that your doing spin spin spin. The bad is that there is nothing to change up, no hard climbs, no trees or smells or birds or Colorado Reds flipping you off or yellin "hey faggot" well, I guess that last one should be placed under the "good" portion.

I often wonder if those guys and their distended guts ever get to see a woman naked (besides strippers or playboy's) I would opine that they do not, since their living holy trinity (of Mullets, Marlboro's and Millers ) are not very high on a woman's "the man I want" wish list. Nor would I imagine that a shaved legged, male prima donna, dainty espresso drinking, heart monitor wearing, chamois abuser, could or should be on a womans wish list but you can see where the either or choice would be pretty clear.

But I digress, finally got some parts for my seat and I have to thank Selle Italia for saving my ass (literally) and now off to bed and then to spin while listening in on another long winded verbose conference call in the morning, after, of course, a dainty espresso and some nasty ass Muesli for a clean colon. Now that is a thought to take to bed with you... umm super colon blow, really gettin the lead out.

Korean World Cup

Looks like 5 Swiss 5 Austrians a couple Italians and one American man in the Finals, I know that that does not make 16 but the FIS website is loading Slowly.

Looks like one American woman made it and that was Rosey Fletcher. Not sure what happened to Kosglow or anyone else. Reiter said he was feeling good before the event. Oh well I imagine that they will be coming back to the states pronto as the Lake Placid event starts pretty damn quick.

Pico 48th in the road race today

Damn those fools are going at it down in Phoenix.

Wilk did well as did a few others down there, like Nick Traggis.

And who the frick is Ken Delo from Mojo Wheels? My old sponsor, must be an okay rider - since he has NO SUPPORT as they HAVE NO ROAD TEAM. Oh well.

Tim and Ian's new web-site

Tim and Ian from Tiaa Cref have a new web site:

Check those kids out right here: http://justgoharder.com/

And Tim and Lauren are getting MARRIED! Love the ring, Tim - well done!

So tired

there was a wreck in the canyon today. Man that was a summit county type of drive home. SUCKED bad. Time for dinner and then - and oh so surprising - bed.

Hey to

The fools in Japan, Michelle, Lisa K and Rosey Fletch, Jen Grace and Eden. They all at one time lived and trained in Colorado and I was lucky to make friends with them!

Same goes with Jewell, Bidez and a host of others. Get your snowboard on!

I guess the party tonight in Japan is gonna be off the chain, it is like 4pm over there now and people are starting to get ready already???? Oh the life on the tour, and hour of chaos and days of boredom in hotels, sounds like my sales job. Good night!

And Reiter Too!

We love Clair Too

Say hi to your mom and pop for me! How's dylan?

Who dat is?

HI LYNN! WE LOVE YOU FROM THE STATES!

Pico Update

52nd in the Time Trial in Tempe, looks like Wilk and a couple other got him. Damn. It sounds like the airlines lost his bike (not the TT) I hope he gets the focker before the road race in the AM. Left his ass a message, I wonder if I'll hear from him over the weekend.

Trainin

One leggers coming up to work on a better spin!

26 minutes to 30 minutes each leg.

Gonna toss some intervals after 10-15 "warm" up doing 2, 4, 6, 4, 2. With in order 1 minute "rest" 2,2,2 and back to 1 minute. Following up with a 15 minute cool down - there's your hour and change - then a light beer with Jeremy the wrench I think.

NBA punks are all over town now, all the clubs bars and lounges are all packed in the hope that they may see someone famous, like the cast from Cop Rock or Square Pegs or the Banana Splits.

Pico makes the Squawk

Damn the Durango bitches are fearing Pico. Read about it here: http://www.durangosquawk.com/

I wonder how he did down in Tempe today? I hope he rode well and had a good showing.

Finishing up the work and ready to go spin again, 1 hour intervals. At least I was able to find some music to listen to I have a couple of hour plus CD's that I mixed up with the focus on being a spin disk, a tempo disk, intervals, etc etc. I wonder how long it will take until these to become annoying and when I'll have to find some new music.

Anyone need pens? I got new sample packs from Bic! Yea!

Man I keep finding old fun stuff

When I was living in hell, I found this beacon out there: www.grooveradio.com. This is from a former friend and DJ I know Swedish Eagle. Now that mother knows his music. I'd say give it a listen and expand your mind. Great dance, trance, house and exclusive mixes. The shit is the bomb.

Bad ass

I never get to...

Man I never get to see movies. There is a free HBO week going on. Cable sometimes rocks, to bad that shit is going away soon.

So I go to see The Rundown with The Rock (I love that dude), The League of Extrodanary Gentleman (so so movie), Boys in the hood (I have not seen that one in a while), All of the Matrix's movies in back to back to back nights (the first one is still the best by far), Bad Boys 2 (too much cussin), and a few others, Head Of State is now on, Chris Rock is a great comdey dude, but he sucks as a director and actor (well actor is good) who wrote this dreck. Bernie Mac as the brother of Mays is funny and about the only redeeming factor in this dawg that won't hunt.

Can I just tell you that Will and Grace, Karen and Jack are the best co-dependant couple going right now in the sense of mindless drivel land (TV). Time go moi moi.

1:51pm

In Japan, the finals started 20 minutes ago! Go Tyler! Go girls go!

If I get the results before bed I'll post them.

If not go here: http://www.fis-ski.com/uk/604/1228.html?event_id=14529

Japan Update

Three things:

On the trainer for an hour and a half - I feel great!

Tyler Jewell was the only American to gain the finals in Japan. Jasey Jay made it, however the rest were all Swiss and Austrians for the men.

Gorgone and Hookom and Alexa made it to the finals. Look like Lynn crashed out: http://www.fis-ski.com/pdf/2005/SB/7287/7287RLRQ.PDF

Gotta check on Justin Reiter ended up like 26th and Ryan Mc was 25th.

Later.

Snowboard

Hey one of my old riders has got himself a new (to me) website. He sort of updates it and has some video and photo's. Here's the link!

Felt 70

Looking hard at that one and a raleigh international pro. Any thoughts from the peloton? Rubbing on my neck from jackets has given me a rash on my apple, big zit looking thang.

Pico is off to a camp/race in AZ and he has the AZ class 2's all in a twitter, yes kids he is that strong. And I hate him (nah kidding) he wants to be a pro and that is where he is going and I want to appreciate and honor that for him, that kid deserves. As I get updates from the crew in AZ, I'll post them. He rides for Tokyo Joes and his name is Top Secret. Wish him luck.

Need new sponsors

Well it is past that time of year for sponsors. If you know anyone with a few bucks, let me know. Gotta get some parts and wheels.

What guys say

So when every new story starts with, so I was with this chick and then we started..... That shit is always so unbelieveable. Why do we say that? Or my least favorite, I was bangin her and... at least make up something good and semi honest. All that hyperbole is so out there that no one can even be sure to where it begins or ends.

So I was banging this chick, sitting in a lounge listening to this I was struck by the same tones and themes from every single guy I know. Do we have the same writer working for us? Can we not come up with something better than that? Can we not regale ourselves with the same story from high school or college? Oh well, we had better work on that. It sounds like some of the stories are right out of the movies!

What are these people thinking

I have no earthly idea, but this is dumb!

The "Luther Burger," a bacon-cheeseburger served on a Krispy Kreme doughnut bun.

Sounds yummy but is a heart attack waiting to happen.

Off to Japan

Talked with the boys and they are in San Fran on the way to Japan and Korea for the next world cup events. Everyone is healthy happy and wise. The next events are a few days away and the hype of Japan is sure to be overwhelming.

Lynn broke her Phiokka's and is looking for levers, that girl is getting it done but mechanicals are slowing her down.

Rode the trainer Sat and Sunday. Legs are beat, since I added some hiking of the course with that and I need far more water in the system. My body was aching for more water, and it freaked out, dry skin, itchy and sort of lost. Off to wyoming for some fun business.

The End

Well - the end is coming OMX, the employer of choice for the last 3 years could or could not annouce my report to is no longer my report to (fired) those guys are pretty smooth and slick and I am sure if that is the case, a new DSM will be in place in no time and ready to go like ASAP and with a new DSM they are going to want their own people etc etc. I could be out of a job real quick. Then I will be fucked for sure, new home - can you say mortgage and car payments (fuck load of money) right now less that that in savings....oh well things happen and you can wallow like a baby or charge forward.

A note from the World Cup

See this one from LynnO.

24th baby !!!!!!24th .... not great but better ...i'll take it
Lynn

Also - Garrett called in a report from Norquay Alberta Canada with a sick result from the event there! He Josh and Mort rode well, had fun, but FROZE THEIR backsides off.

Congrats to one and all!

Cycling Benefit

See this:

Boulder, Colorado - Tuesday, February 8, at Boulder's Flatirons Theater, Boulder-based cyclists star in "Pro: The Movie". "Pro" is a feature-length film shot at the 2004 US Professional Road Cycling Championships in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Boulder riders Scott Moninger, Chris Wherry, Dan Schmatz, Michael Barry, Will Frischkorn, Mike Jones, Greg Henderson, Alex Candelario and Jonas Carney play substantial roles in a movie that offers an insider's view of the biggest cycling event in North America. Racing legends Andy Hampsten (winner of the 1988 Tour of Italy), Nelson Vails (silver medalist in the '84 Olympic Games) and Thomas Prehn (road star of the '70s and ‘80s) will be on hand to talk about the movie and the role cycling plays in their lives.
"I want to make sure everyone knows that these Boulder guys are in the film, that they're locals. ‘Pro' is a great peek into the lives they live on the road all year. It's just an awesome look at the professional racing scene here in the US," says Dave Towle, event organizer. Towle will emcee the premiere, lending his decades of cycling knowledge and experience as a professional race announcer to the event.
"It's gonna be great. Bicycle Village is stepping up big, Clif Bar will be on hand, and VeloPress will be selling copies of ‘Pro' on DVD. Ten percent of their sales will benefit The Family Learning Center. During intermission I'll be giving away a huge array of prizes including pros' jerseys and other stuff I can't mention just yet," explains Towle.
All revenues from the box-office sales will benefit The Family Learning Center, a Boulder-based non-profit devoted to helping kids from low-income families grow academically and socially. FLC launched an after-school cycling program in 2003, getting more than 30 kids out on mountain bike rides once a week. FLC staffers hope to raise enough money from the premiere of "Pro" to send a group of 40 kids on a week-long cycling camp in June, 2005, and continue their ongoing bike program.
Tickets are available at any Bicycle Village outlet (www.bicyclevillage.com); at University Bikes in Boulder (located at 9th and Pearl); at the venue, The Flatirons Theater (flatironstheater.com, 303/245-9068); at 13th and College on The Hill, in Boulder; and on active.com. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the film rolls at 7 p.m. For more information, contact Flatirons Theater or Dave Towle at the above-listed e-mail or phone. To learn more about The Family Learning Center, or to get involved, contact them at 303/442-8979 or visit their Web site at FLCBoulder.org.
